Transferring property into a Limited Company

In light of the budget, many investors are re-assessing whether they should buy property via a Limited Company and to that end, also transfer their existing portfolio into a Limited Company.

There are a variety of ways of undertaking such a transfer. The two most popular being either to form an LLP and then transfer the assets into the Limited Company through that vehicle, or to transact a sale and purchase. There are advantages and disadvantages to both ways.

To find out more about these options contact one of the team at Harvey Bowes today on 029 2175 4150.

More information about their talks:

It’s All About Relationships…. – Carly Houston   & Kirstin Adam

Starting a property business with no funds and no track record may sound like an impossible task…

2 and half years ago, Glaswegian sisters, Carly Houston and Kirstin Adam made a decision to start a property business together. There was just one small problem – They had very little property experience and no money to invest! Undeterred they set about educating themselves and started attending their local pin meetings. They joined the Property Mastermind Programme in October 2013 and just 11 months later had accumulated a property portfolio worth £1.7 million and finished as Top Performers on the course. Since then they have continued to grow their portfolio and have also branched out into development projects in prime Brighton locations.

The Key to their success? Relationships!

There are numerous relationships in a single property deal and how you treat and cultivate those relationships will have a direct effect on how smoothly the project runs, from intitial interactions with estate agents and working with investors, to choosing the right tenants! At this pin meeting event, Carly and Kirstin will share how they achieved their results and give their top tips on attracting investors and forging positive, lasting relationships.
